Despite recent active hurricane seasons, migration into Florida remains strong. Sarasota ranked No. 18 among U.S. growth cities in 2025 based on U-Haul's inbound one-way moves. Florida ranked second nationwide for incoming migration, just behind Texas, and 10 of the top 20 growth cities are in Florida. The U-Haul Growth Index analyzes more than 2.5 million one-way rental transactions.
